About the scheme
We know that happy, confident mums and dads have happy, confident children
The CANparent Classes and Advice Network brings together 13 organisations who are experienced in running parenting classes and offering support to families. They have been specifically chosen because the classes they offer are proven to work.
CANparent classes cover all of the topics any parent of a child under 6 will face. Be it daily routines; managing relationships; team parenting; why play is important; behaviour or practical solutions to everyday challenges. While every child is different, many parents find that they go through the same challenges, issues and joys as other mums and dads.
CANparent is giving all parents/carers in Camden, Middlesbrough and High Peak in Derbyshire a voucher worth £100 to spend with the CANparent Classes and Advice Network.
Choose from a range of different options to suit you and your lifestyle - from online support to local groups. You can find the time and place to learn about what really matters to you and share advice on what really works.
You can use your voucher to claim up to £100 worth of parenting classes (one voucher per parent/carer). Classes are available to all mums, dads and carers with a child 6 years or under living, working or studying* in or who has a child who attends school or nursery in Camden, Middlesbrough and High Peak (Derbyshire).
You can use your CANparent voucher to get support with issues such as:-
- learning through play
- parents working together as a team
- communicating and staying calm
- managing sleep issues
- coping with difficult behaviour
- rules and routines
- understanding different stages of your child's development
